Romahome hi-top
This is an advert for my Romahome which I have had for almost 2 years and had some great weekends away. It is an ideal vehicle for one or two. I am selling it because I've bought a luxurious version with a toilet and shower! The base vehicle is a Citroen C15. It was first registered in 1996 and has had a number of previous owners. It's just sailed through its MOT (expires July 2010) with no work required and has just had a new battery. It is taxed until November 2009.
The speedometer reads 180,000+ but at 56,620 miles a 'new' speedometer reading 176881 was fitted! I have the documentation for this and the garage's contact details to confirm. The true milage is therefore in the region of 66,500. the Romahome has two single or one large double bed, made by putting slats across the central gap and filling it with the back cushions. There is huge storage area over the cab, a 2-burner hob, small fridge, cold water tap (onboard water storage tank, new pump). There is no power steering but as it's not a very heavy van this is really only noticeable when turning tight corners at low speed.
The bonnet would benefit from some TLC and the housing of the numberplate light is cracked, but works fine. the Romahome was garaged all winter.
