1967 Baldwin (Burns) vibraslim
Jim Burns was an excellent guitar maker but unfortuneately not a great businessman and as a result sold his company to Baldwin in September of 1965. Jim stayed with the company and continued to make these and other great guitars. All Baldwin did was change the name on the scratchplate.
All in all it a great sounding and playing guitar which is not always the case with vintage guitars and all for the price of a second hand Strat. My mate was even shredding it on it cos the necks that good! I had more compliments with this guitar than any I`ve previously owned (Gibson, Fender & PRS).
It`s all original apart from the trem arm and black plastic surround which was ordered and hand made by Burns London Ltd.
Did a gig with it at the weekend and it rocked!
Please contact for any further details and I am open to offers.
Thanks
