1997 Volvo V70 Turbo AWD
Volvo V70 Turbo AWD for sale. 125000 miles on the clock and MOT until April 2010. A good, solid car. Runs well, very good on the motorway and for carrying large loads. Four wheel drive, ABS, air conditioning, heated seats with leather trim. Roof rails and alloy wheels. Integral child seat and dog guard. Brand new tyres on front and rear (Goodyear and Firestone) Good service history.
Requires a bit of maintenance for two reasons: *Exhaust is smoky - mechanic friend advised me that it is the turbo leaking a bit of oil into exhaust manifold which then gets burnt off. He thought it would not be a major job to repair or replace the turbo with a reconditioned part. *Handbrake is loose and probably needs a cable replaced. Due to the above, and in order to sell quickly, price is much lower than normal valuation.
Bodywork is in particularly good condition for a car of it's age and it is well worth a viewing.
Normally priced around £1500 according to Parkers (even higher in What Car) but would sell for £900 ono to get quick sale. Selling it as I can now get a lift into work so don't need the second car.
