In my view, this is the ultimate mid sized estate car. It is fun to drive, due to the tremendous torque, and I get over 55 mpg on motorways

The car is in excellent condition throughout and has no faults. I have a complete print out of all the maintenance that has been carried out since new. At 105 K miles it had the CAMBELT changed; at 112K it had new alternator pulley; 124 K miles it had a new radiator.

The interior of the car shows virtually no signs of wear and it has just had a full professional valet. VW designed these cars to last and there are many examples of this model that have done well over 500K without major repairs.

This is the sport version and is above the SE model. It has very generous features, including leather steering wheel, auto climate control, heated front seats with five settings, superb true hi-fi surround sound stereo system with cassette and in dash 6 CD changer, all electric windows and mirrors, multiple air bags / curtains, remove central locking and alarm ( operated by both key fobs). Pull out luggage cover, VW Sport " Road America" Alloys ( some corrosion but very attractive). We have also added Cruise Control: cost £225 from local VW dealer.

The colour is Inky Blue Pearl, one of the most sought after colours. The body work is very good with no dents or major scratches; better than you would expect for a car with this mileage. However, it has a few minor stone chips and some kerb scratches on the wheels ( see pics )

The car is sold with its original VW document wallet, containing all the handbookds, fully stamped service book, full service print out, both original keys/ remotes, MOT. It has the original case and everythings else that comes with the car, including first aid kit.
