1980 jaguar XJ12 5.3 auto

The interior is tan leather that is in excellent unmarked condition, all the usual jaguar xj refinements such as climate control, cruise control, electric seats, elec windows and elec mirrors, all in full working order. The head lining is clean and unmarked, door panels are in super condition, wood veneer dash is in stunning conditon and really sets off the interior, complete with fully operational AM/FM radio cassette (theres nothing worse than looking at a tatty dash board thats fitted with a radio that doesnt work correctly....!) and finally the carpets are nearly as new.

The body work is in very good original condition but does have some surface blemishes in the usual places that xj's are afflicted with, but dont let this put you off, once done this car will truly be in superb condition. The engine bay is solid and clean so is the boot.

The V12 engine...! Well what can i say other than superb...! it starts first turn of the key and get up to temp no problem and maintains good oil pressure. The gear box is also problem free in all possitions.

The rest of the mechanics are in excellent condition with four nearly new tyres.

I purchased the car just over 2 years ago and the previous owner regularly maintained the car and also used to take the car to shows, it really is a wrench to sell this car and a good home is essensial, its part of british car history and a real dream to own and drive, inspections welcome.
