24" Statuette of a Maiden Carrying a Water Pitcher

This plaster model is of a French or Italian maiden carrying a water jug, and is after a model dating from the end of the 19th century, in an Orientalists style dress.
It was produced about 100 years ago. The young woman bears the features of a European, but the style is how Europeans liked to imagine those from North Africa & the Near East.
There is a chip on the base and the rear as shown in the photographs.
It measures 24" tall.
