Advert Description

RGD Model 166 Valve Radio (1939 era).
Wooden case possibly plywood with curves. Approx 25" wide 15" high and 12" deep.
8 pre-select button, Volume and Tone knobs and pointer that shows international services operated by rotating know knob.

When the radio has warmed up, there is a large humming noise. The back has sockets for earth and aerial. I presume the hum might decrease if the earth was connected. I did not have any aerial to hand, but with a very small screwdriver inserted in the aerial hole on one of the preselector buttons, not sure what waveband, there were several foreign and music programmes. Could not get the usual Radios 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. but that may just be the need for a suitable aerial.
My preferred method of payment is CASH, CHEQUE or POSTAL ORDER.
Item can be collected or despatched with purchaser
organising and paying all costs.
