Heavily Carved Prayer Book Holder

This is a prayer book holder which is believed to be from around 150 years old or more, it is in good condition for its age but is missing a small piece of the carved foliate work.
It has required
a remarkable amount of skill to carve this from one piece of wood, and it folds into two positions to adjust to the size of the prayer book, or the height required. Read more
