Antique 19th/20th Century hand-operated Knife Cleaner and Sharpener.
Made by Spong (maker's Brass badge on front) and detailing on paper label with its serial number,,
Wooden drum with base supports with two feet pierced for mounting to tabletop; with hand crank and 2 slots, one in the top and one in the side of the drum.
Diameter of drum: 14 inches

Weight: over 10 kg.
Knives are placed in the slots at the top of the box. Inside are two round discs (Without abrasive discs) which clean and polish both sides of the knife at the same time. An abrasive powder is poured through the chute (on side).
