Genuine Suzanne Neville bespoke wedding gown. Fishtail style. Very fitted lace long bodice with internal corset (no lacing, just buttons up the back). The bodice is silk with corded lace over the top and it has top-stitching along the seams to give a corset effect. It also has built in bust cups with padding and uplift. Dramatic ruffle and tulle skirt that starts on a slant from the bodice. The skirt is tulle with a ruffled layer on the top that splits open to reveal the straight tulle. This is a one of a kind dress designed by Suzanne Neville herself and made to measure for me. Suzanne herself did my toile fitting for the dress. You will not find this dress being sold in any boutique. I paid £4000 for this gown. The first pictures were taken in Suzanne's studio in Harrow-on-the-Hill at one of my fittings. The gown was beautifully handmade in the UK, and it is in excellent condition, having been worn only once on my wedding day!
Measurements are as follows ( for reference, I am a UK size 6):
Bust: taken from the front - side seam to side seam over bust cups: 16 inches.
Side seam to side seam measurement taken from the back (top of dress): 15 inches.
Approx 31 inch bust. My cup size is A but the padding could be removed and the dress could accommodate a larger bust.
Waist: 25 inches
Hips: 34 inches
Length of bodice to the shortest point: 21 inches
Length of bodice from the longest point: 25 inches
Length of dress taken from in between bust cups to the front hem is 54 inches. It tapers longer than this at each side. My height is approx 5'4" and I wore approx 5 inch heels on my wedding day. Shoes are being sold in a separate listing!
My wedding was in August 2014 and the dress has just been professionally dry-cleaned. It has been stored in a beautiful silver box with silver bow, and packaged with acid free paper to protect and preserve the material. Receipt of dry cleaning can be provided. Also comes with the Suzanne Neville protective dress bag.
