Vintage and rare Framus Acoustic 12-StringTexan model ie most Texan Guitars as far as my research shows were 6 and not 12 strings.
Description of woods used are
to the best of my knowledge:
Body Shape = Dreadnaught
* 22 fret bound Ebony fretboard with Pearl dot inlays on a Mahogany neck,
* Raised arched back,
* Fretboard - Rosewood
Top - Solid Spruce
^ Back and Sides - Maple
Bridge - Rosewood
* Adjustable saddle and bridge,
*vintage Nickel open gear tuners,
* Abalone headstock inlays ie 'Framus'
........and it plays and sounds great but will need a little adjustment and setting up to really get that famous, 60s Framus sound!
The condition is well used but good (a 6 out of 10) with scratches and marks here and there as is to be expected in a guitar about 50 years old! (You should see the present owner!).
Lovely 'Tobacco' like Sunburst Finish
Light fret wear and no lifting of the bridge.
Made in Bubenreath in
Germany and built to last like a VW Beetle, (a similar model was allegedly used by the Beatles and Kinks on recording back in the day).
Can deliver for free locally or for fares further out.
Hard Black, Lined Case included in asking price
