This is an 8 inch bone china plate made by Noritake
to mark the Hundredth Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police at their Headquarters in Regina Saskatchewan in 1982. It comes in a silk lined presentation box. The plate itself has a gilt line around the edge and it is 'as new' despite being 34 years old. It is one of a limited edition of 3,000. The illustration on the centre of this plate was first published in 1908 as part of a photographic montage by Sergeant G W Brinkworth and the original is housed in the Centennial Museum in Regina, Canada. Included with the plate is a
leaflet entitled 'Sergeant G W Brinkworth: Historian with a Camera". Brinkworth was born in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England, in 1874. Buyer collects from Malvern, UK, or can be posted worldwide - p&p extra.
