Parastat, Record Cleaning, Vintage HiFi, Cecil E. Watts

PARASTAT
The chance to buy a very rare bit of HiFi equipment. It was used to clean records and eliminate static during the process. This example is more of a museum piece now but very collectible.
My father started Hifi news in the late 1950s and was a friend of Cecil E. Watts, and this Parastat has been in my possession since ever.
The advert in the image shows one in use and that model seems to have a collar at either end of the support column.
