1869, plate 135, One Penny (1d.) Red stamp lettered PC (Stanley Gibbons code SG43).
From the set of stamps printed between 1858-79 (plate numbers 71-225), this 14 perforation, die II, large crown watermarked, type G1, rose-red, line-engraved example was printed using plate 135 which was registered on 31/03/1869 and put to press on 13/12/1869.
This stamp is a used, fine example cancelled / obliterated by a black, rarity D (difficult), 97D8 (cancellation number 97 (origin of the department) of the vertical oval design known as Debus type D8), 1863-type, London Chief Office (Inland Branch) postmark and is made available exclusive of the cost of postage and packaging which will be as follows:
Packaging (small Jiffy bag): £0.14; and
Postage - Royal Mail 'UK Signed' 1st class service for Large Letter up to and including 100g: £3.45 or
Postage - Royal Mail 'UK Signed' 2nd class service for Large Letter up to and including 100g: £3.05.
