Equine Faciliated Learning is the gaining of transferable skills by work on the ground with horses and ponies including handling, leading, grooming, stable management, pasture management, first aid and veterinary, hoof care and feeding.

Who can participate?
Anyone of any age over six years old
No previous experience is required
There are separate groups for different age groups
How many at a time?
For effective learning and safety the maximum group size is six
Where does this take place?
This takes place at Touchdown Memorial Home for Horses at Mulben. There is ample car parking in site and good road connections.
Who are the horses?The horses are all rescue horses and range from Welsh Mountain ponies to Warmbloods. They are all very loving and friendly.

Is it safe? Yes. Health and safety is of prime importance and all participants are trained in safe practiceParticipants are supervised at all times and work in an enclosed environment
