Home Made turntable, built on a slab of 25mm Corian, 52cm x 39cm.
Project P1 main bearing and sub platter, Litovel 220VAC motor with Project P1 pulley and a Pro-Ject Debut arm. Motor mounted on 3mm thick steel plate. Main platter is 30cm diameter 10mm thick black acrylic with a 3mm felt or cork mat. Arm has been rewired, and refurbished. Fitted with a brand new AT95E cartridge.
The lid is used but cleaned and polished, self supporting at full open. Outputs wired to twin phono and earth tag on die cast aluminium box. Feet fitted from an old Technics deck. Supplied with mains cable and twin phono / earth cable, 1m, made with Van Damme cable and gold phono plugs.
The Corian is an amazing material, this slab weighs in at just about 9kg, very rigid and non resonant, the whole thing sounds very sweet, with a stunning soundstage. I invite buyers to visit with their own vinyl to test. I also make a pretty fine coffee.
Buyer collect only NN3 Northampton, postage will be prohibitive due to the weight of the Corian.
