Advert Description

Unusual Pressed Clear Glass Bowl Or Dish On Black Glass Stand.
Very Good Condition.

This decorative shallow clear pressed glass bowl is a very unusual piece as it sits on a separate circular black milk glass stand.

The simple elegant design of this useful item will look attractive in either a modern or traditional setting and blend nicely with any colour decor.

I do not know who made this bowl, or where, as there are no manufacturer's marks other than the registration number 7056 followed by the number 32, pressed into the clear glass.

The bowl has been in my family since the early 1900's, and is only being sold now as I need the space. It is therefore antique or vintage, possibly Art Deo.

The bowl is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks.
It has not been damaged and then repaired. When one looks closely at the glass there are a few signs of light use, which are to be expected given its age.

The black glass stand has a tiny chip on its top edge.
When the bowl is positioned on the stand the chip is not noticeable.

Please study the photographs provided to make your own assessment regarding the condition of this item.

This is a private sale from a pet and smoke free home.

The total height of the bowl and stand together is approximately 13 cm.
The diameter of the top of the bowl is approximately 28 cm.
The diameter of the top of its stand is approximately 16 cm.

Given glass is fragile and this item is fairly heavy I would prefer the buyer to collect, and pay cash on collection please.

However, if essential I would be willing to send it to a location within mainland United Kingdom, at the buyer's own risk, for an additional £16.50. In this situation I would make every reasonable effort to pack the bowl and stand as carefully as possible so as to help ensure their safety.

Regret no returns accepted.

Thank you.
