Advert Description

Rare vintage glass 'Cashier' panel

This beautiful glass 'Cashier' panel is made from a thick glass approximately 7mm, and is fairly heavy.
We are not sure on the dating of the panel but we think Victorian era looking at the pattern. The panel is mainly clear with etched glass to form the border design and Cashier etched in gold lettering.

Measurements: W1147 x H556 x 7mm

This are a collection only item due to fragility. If the buyer wishes to arrange a courier I am happy to wrap the glass but take no responsibility regarding transportation, please be aware this is a very heavy piece when considering transportation.

This is a real piece of history preserved and we hope will be able to revived and of use again, we believe it would make a great statement window or panel in a shop / restaurant / bar setting and would also look fabulous above a doorway.

The gold letting is slightly removed in some places but nothing major as seen in picture, also there is slight damage to the edges where it has been removed from previous framework as would be expected but there is nothing wrong with the panel itself, so once reframed this will be hidden, also as per the last photograph there is a piece of the edge missing (bottom right) this could be trimmed away to make the bottom level by a glazier, we also believe that if this was required to be hung as a piece of art the edges could be trimmed and polished smooth to remove these issues and it could then be hung as a decorative item.
