The Lenco Transcription Record Deck is probably the most precise domestic turntable ever made – it sets the high standard by which all similar equipment is judged.
Specification includes 4kg precisely balanced platen, tone arm with dampened hydraulic lowering system, ball and knife edge bearings in tone arm with many sophisticated set up adjustments to cater for a full range of styli pressures and stylus head assemblies.
Operating Instructions explain how to adjust stylus pressures and set the anti-skating feature.
Record revolution speeds are variable in the range of 30 to 86 rpm.
For standard rpm’s (16, 33, 45, 78) a stroboscope disc allows for exact adjustment of these with adjustable pre-set locating lugs.
The motor has suspension mountings within a sub frame and is thereby isolated from the turntable. Drive from motor to platen is via an indirect idler wheel drive giving complete isolation of noise and vibration between motor and turntable.
During operation the equipment is completely silent and without any rumble, wow or flutter during playback.
This unit is in pristine condition – the lift up grey ‘smoked glass’ lid, apart from a very minor cosmetic blemish, is without damage or scratches. Base is teak veneer with satin black plinth.
All original accessories are supplied along with Sure M75-6
Type 2 Magnetic Cartridge with Sure EJ T2 elliptical tip stylus, Prostatik disc cleaner, soft brush for stylus cleaning and padded base mat. Spare idler wheel drive – unused and still in box. Lenco branded large hole adapter for playing 45 rpm records.
Collection is recommended thereby avoiding any transit damage to this precision equipment, this also gives the buyer opportunity to view before cash payment.
Packing and shipping can be arranged based on preferences of the buyer – payment for this would be additional to the purchase price.
