ow much is moored as seen in the photo at penton hook marina chertsey near thorpe park on a floating pontoon so no worries about flooding etc
the marina has numerous toilet blocks, showers, launderette,club house,chandlers etc,
also as a berth holder you can visit and stay for free at any other of there marinas for upto 30 nights, there are about 20 dotted around the south coast but 2 on the thames including windsor near by where you get all the same servicies as at your home mooring including fuel at cost and discounted boatyard services,
this is a leisure mooring and could be used as a pied de terre or holliday home with freedom to change location when suits you whilst thorpe park is less than a 10 minute walk and you can buy a ticket for £50 and it gives you free entry all year (keep the kids happy)
staines or chertsey railway stations are easily reached by the bus service straight outside the gate takes 10/15 minutes,
you can get direct train in and out of london from staines 45 minutes approx,
so easy access from anywhere in the country with out having to drive here,
All in all a very different spacious broads cruiser with a excellent mooring on a fantastic part of the thames with loads of places to visit and loads of events and shows on and around the river, could even be your own hotel for the royal wedding or could easily make someone a cracking home taking advantage of all the free moorings up and down the thames,
