Baloo is a sweet natured boy who can turn his hooves to anything.
I have owned Baloo for 5 years now and don't really want to part with him but know it is the best thing for him as I am now working full time and struggling to find the time to give him the attention he deserves. Because of this Baloo isn't in consistent work so isn't currently fit.
I have hunted with him and competed him up to 110cm at local showjumping competitions. He has schooled over cross country fences and through water on a surface as well as competed in showing classes for fun. He has 3 lovely floaty paces on the flat and works on the bridle.
He can be strong and definitely will be while jumping when he comes back into work as he will be excited and enthusiastic at the thought of it.This is why he needs an experienced/confident rider. He isn't one to buck or bronc, he has only done so once in the whole time I have had him which was nothing which would unseat a rider.
He is the type of horse you can leave for a few months unridden then hop on board and he won't be hot headed trying to unseat you. That being said I want him to go to a home who will thoroughly enjoy having him and ride him frequently as he loves having a purpose and job to do, he is bored now.
Hacking wise baloo will lead, follow or go out alone. His only down fall with this is he can be impatient if he has to stand around.
He's lived out all year round in the past as well as being stabled at night, he gets on with mares and geldings but does get upset if he is left out or stabled alone.
Baloo also lived in at university with me in term time where he was used for practical lessons with complete novices.
Good to shoe, box, clip, worm etc
