For sale I have my Ford StreetKa Luxury. It’s in metallic black, with great condition Black full leather interior and heated seats, it has a 1.6 litre engine, and a convertible roof. These are fun, reliable and surprisingly nippy little cars, with a large boot, quirky good looks, and great handling capabilities with a quality ride. Safety is also excellent with airbags and roll over hoops. Unlike the normal hardtop ka, these are designed by pininfarina and so use different panels, these do not rust around the filler cap etc like the normal ka does and shares many components with the fiesta and focus.
This particular one is the luxury model so has heated leather seats in excellent condition (regular clean and feed), and leather steering wheel, a convertible soft top (with a good not foggy rear screen) that folds away into the body giving it a clean look. Its interior is in great condition and the exterior is also very good for its age. Its done 93,000miles which is nothing for one of these 1.6dtec petrol engines. It starts first turn of the key every time, has just had a full service, new brake master cylinder and fluid, oil spray underbody protection, and new coil pack, plugs, leads, fuel rail with injectors and pressure regulator, uprated reusable cone air filter and crank breather, new battery and fresh polish by a body care expert.
So the good: the price is nothing for a convertible little roadster, full leather heated seats leather door cards in excellent condition, great quality cd 6 changer stereo, under 100k miles, recent service and money spent in the last year, No bodywork rust or bubbling paint.
The Bad: It could do with 2 new tyres as currently it has some eggs from winter pot holes. There is the odd age related mark but nothing unexpected on a car this age, the car could do with a new exhaust flexible section as its started to blow and as such occasionally the engine light comes on from this. (the car does however still drive fine)
The Ugly: Its got a few curbing marks on the 16” alloy wheels, roof could do with a clean.
Priced to sell and factored in a new exhaust (£40 approx. exhaust and 2X £40 tyres), great fun little roadster ready for the summer (if the summer ever comes), and quite fine still in winter with its heated seats, big boot, and general usability.
