Saltmarshe Castle is open 12 months a year with a yearly licence. Any sale would need to go through the site office. A yearly gas certificate is required and electrical check every 3 years which is arranged through the site along with the purchase of log gas bottles. Water is included in the site fees which can be paid as a monthly direct debit of £345.67 or a yearly payment of £3968.00. Electric meters are read and billed every 6 months. On purchase of the chalet proof of residence is required to be shown.
The holiday park is currently undergoing refurbishment with a residential area underway. On site you have facilities of a small shop selling afternoon tea, snacks, flowers etc. Cafe and club. All these facilities are included in the site fee. They have also recently purchased Sapey Golf Club which is approximately 3.5miles from the park and discount is given to Saltmarshe castle owners.
The park is located in peaceful and breath-taking woodland setting, approximately 2.5 miles north of the town of Bromyard and is situated with south facing views over the Bromyard Downs and Malvern Hills.
In the grounds of Saltmarshe Castle, a former country house and estate first owned by the Higginson family and then through the generations to the Barnaby family in 1946. Although the Castle itself was demolished many years ago, in 1955, parts of the outer walls and turrets still remain, together with various outbuildings, stables, ice house and cider wheel, making this park a unique place to stay.
Bromyard, the nearest town, is where you will find all your local amenities, doctors, dentist, optician and vets along with the local shops.
