The wet suits have a Velcro shoulder strap and is very easy to put on – much easier than ones with long arms, also with having shoulder straps, it means there is more adjustment on length. They are suitable for sailing, kayaking, surfing or just messing about in the sea or lake. My husband, a keen kayaker and also when sailing, always buys the longjohn type as it gives more freedom of movement.
The wetsuits are well made by Diamond, 4mm and have good seams and are not like the cheaper versions you can now buy at supermarkets. Diamond also make drysuits. To buy it new would be £60+ each
The size is 2 which Diamond says equates to 26’’ chest and probably fits a child age 4-7 years, depending on the child. The actual measurements when flat are chest 22’’, shoulder to crotch 21’’, inside leg 21’’. Neoprene of course stretches.
I have 2 of these as my children were the same size (price is for 1), both are as new as they both had a growth spurt.
