A three tier cake stand in the finest quality, Staffordshire bone china. The crockery is decorated in a classic "Red, Pink & White Rose" pattern with dark green foliage. There are wide flutes to the rims and gold embossed, scalloped edges. The bottom tier has a diameter of 21cm/8.25", the middle tier is 17.25cm/6.75" and the top tier is 15'5cm/6"; all measurements approximate. The plain centre stems are in gilt with a simple halo ring at the top. The overall height to the top of the stem is approximately 33cm/13".
This is a vintage stand from the 1950's or 60's so please do not expect it to be as new. For its age, though, it is in exceptionally good condition. The gilt stems are in perfect condition and not tarnished. This is not a large diameter stand so will not take up too much table space and will add a touch of elegance with your morning coffee or afternoon tea.
