Welcome to The Funny Farm - Coventrys very own urban poultry and small pet rehoming service.
We are not a business or a charity and are entirely self funded carrying out this service for our love and dedication of animals.
Since beginning almost 2 years ago we have successfully took in and re homed hundreds of pets through our Internet platforms.
Currently accepting Chickens (including cockerels), Ducks, Quail, Rabbits and Guinea Pigs. We have suitable accommodation here which is secure and meets the needs of the animals that they've been built for.
We understand that parting with your pet can be somewhat traumatic and we aim to make this hard choice as smoothe as possible.
We are a not for profit service. We dedicate our time to doing this and feel that we are able to offer homes where other rescues can't.
Preloved and the Internet in general have plenty of similar ads like this. We actively encourage you to explore every option to ensure your pet is going to the right home. If you don't think we are right, then we will assist you in finding suitable/alternative homes if you wish.
We aren't strictly limited to cute and fluffy poultry and pets. We have successfully assisted in finding homes for micro pigs, goats and geese so please do enquire. If we can help we will.
We are located near to Coventry City Centre (for maps reference CV15AF). We request that you come to us, we find that this is best practice and gives you the opportunity to see where your pets are coming to live. In order to extend our services to a larger audience we do have a number of drivers who are available to collect within the Coventry area for fuel costs.
Please note, it is with regret that we are unable to collect or consider collection from anywhere out of a 30 mile radius.
Due to an Increase in people asking us to take on cockerels we introduced a donation request per bird. This was set at a minimum of £2.50 per cockerel and we find this request is reasonable compared to other similar services.
We take pride in our ability to be able to find good homes for cockerels. We operate a no cull policy here (unless essential due to ill health). We do not stack cockerels up here for the dinner table. We are animal lovers and don't support culling chickens simply because they were born male.
