A true Vintage 1970’s Boho Bohemian Hippy Wedding Dress. (No labels visible possibly handmade/ bespoke.
The dress is Ivory-white in colour the fabric is satin.
The gown is flared design with an A-line cut skirt.
It has a scoop neckline, with a circular design embroidered cotton panel measuring 1 inch thick in a band just above the waist line in a horizontal line.
This band extends around the back of the dress tapering down into a slight V shape where it meets the centre zip. The zip has been concealed beautifully, with a top hook and eye faster to secure the dress. The gown has long flared sleeves tapering out into a floaty triangular shape.
These have been edged with three additional cotton embroidered bands (above and below the elbow) plus edging the cuff.
The dress is unaltered and the original cream lining fabric is present. This is something you may decide to remove for a floaty feel as the fabric is quite stiff and worn so may eventually deteriorate in time. However this does not impact or affect the dress in any way.
The gown is in its true original authentic condition.
The fabric is in remarkable condition, no snags, tears or scuffing of any kind.
A perfect example of true vintage bridal wear of this era. Measurements in inches: Chest: 34 Waist: 30, Length (Front): 50 (top central point of neckline to hem base) there is an additional 1 inch hem visible so this could be lowered if required, Length (Back longest point): 72, Sleeve: (from top of shoulder to cuff base): 22, the cuff width is: 26 (13 flat measurement each side).
