Barely used, Nashville-built SG in rare 'Chocolate' colour with satin nitro finish. Mahogany body and neck, Rosewood fingerboard. When this came to me it was a two-piece guitar with a compound fracture between the head and neck just below the volute. Now the guitar's a one-piece again, the Gibson quality craftsmanship is shining through and it has a lifetime of playing ahead of it. And it's easy and a joy to play. The shallow neck profile and 24 jumbo frets give an open feel to the fretboard and the light weight of the body (only 2.9KG) makes the guitar easy to command. This SG has elegance in its feel and look yet the Dirty Fingers humbuckers turn it into a outrageous rock beast when you crank the volume, especially when you push the distortion. The pickups give a raw yet clear and articulate sound and capture the guitar's natural sustain beautifully. Made for heavier rock or attacking metal but will deliver a mean slow blues in the right hands. It has a new set of Ernie Ball 10s fitted and a Gibson factory spec set up. As-new condition Gibson USA gigbag included together with original owners' manual and truss rod wrench. Please contact for more information and photographs.
