I have had to make the difficult decision to sell our mare, Saffy. She is 14 years old. She is my teenage daughters horse. She has done lots with us since we have owned her, pleasure rides, riding club events, her jump is amazing and she schools very well and takes up a lovely outline. She is hacked out regularly as we have many lovely routes from our village. She is perfect in traffic, nothing bothers her. She travels really well and stands patiently for the farrier. She is wormed to date and had her teeth done in June this year. The downside to Saffy is that she is a complete marish mare, pulling faces and getting stressed when being tacked up. It took me 6 months to get her to trust me so therefore she needs a confident, kind, knowledgable home. This is more important than price as I have a lovely bond with her but my daughter is intimidated by her although once onboard Saffy will do her utmost best for her rider, hence why we have decided to find her a more experienced home.
