After 7 years, 12, 000 miles and some hard thinking, we have made the hard decision to sell our T25, due to family commitments.
Four former owners, with two of them being known to us, this van has had good ownership with everyone taking good care of it to keep in its original state. This can be seen in the photos and through the magazine feature “Golden Opportunity” in Camper and Bus. (Article can be emailed/whats app)
Original condition inside and out, with excellent interior, which has no marks, stains or scratches and can be described “as new”. The body work is brilliant and I am yet to see a better original T25, I should know after spending 15 years in the paint repair industry. The front bumper panel seam is amazing and the chrome can only be original as there is no pitting or blemishes. It has never had any welding. I have regularly waxed this bus and protected the body work as much as I could. However, there are a few small areas that would benefit some form of paint/repair work to keep it in tip top condition. The service history is excellent with very low mileage in its first 16 years of its life 31,000 after that fully documented and still low mileage never missing its every 5000miles service.
The gear box has been overhauled by Aidan Talbot, so no worries there! It only had a sticky first gear. (I have a copy of the full report)
It’s had a full service this year, plus some fine tuning from a diesel specialist (Diesel Bob from Ribchester) the mechanic said it was the best T25’s that he had ever driven and could not believe how well it drove and pulled. Injectors, cam belt kit, and diesel pump overhaul due to small leak.
The van has roughly done 1500 miles a year with us, mainly for holidays during the summer months.
This is a true time capsule van and anyone who sees it will not be disappointed as it has always received many a compliment.
It is priced to sell. But it is very hard one to pitch as there are not many around to compare to.
If it sells it will be a sad day. So I am in no rush for that day to come.
More than welcome to talk and send extra photos to anyone that is seriously interested and to anyone that will look after this great van.
