Advert Description

Dom is a 17'1hh, 9 year old British Warmblood who has competed and won at all local unaffiliated hunter trials and show jumping, his record speaks for itself:-
1st on several occasions at Bagmoor - open 110 level.
at Bagmoor in the 90 pairs as well as the 90 individual.
1st at Caistor Equestrian 90cm individual on several occasions.
1st in 80 pairs at South Elkington.
1st at 90 and 100 SJ at Caistor Equestrian, LRAC and Hill House.
1st in the ODE at Caistor Equestrian at 1m level
Qualifies and competes every year at the Horseware Ireland National Hunter Trial Championships at 1m level, coming 8th in his first year awell as many other placing in XC, SJ and Dressage.
This horse always goes clear at XC and SJ and will jump anything that you put in front of him.
As you may have guessed, he is definitely not a novice ride and needs a confident, competent rider to compete at this level, he would suit a talented teenager looking to break into BE 90/100 or would be an excellent medium weight hunter. He is a safe ride in the school environment as my 10 year old daughter has been riding him regularly since she was 5.
Dom is good to clip, shoe, catch, handle and hack. He loads well in a trailer as long as he is boxed regularly. However, he does need to be sedated for the dentist which he has once a year. He has a splint on his near front but has never been lame from it and it does not affect him in any way - he has had this for the last 18 months and it is now reducing in size.
We have owned Dom since he was 3 - he had only been backed for 2 weeks at that point and are only selling him due to being made redundant so this is an extremely sad and regretful sale. 5 star home is a must! He is currently stabled at Caistor Equestrian Centre and will come with a full wardrobe including rugs, boots, tack and 2 saddles.
