ZZR1100 D1 1993 L reg.
Here is my ZZR 1100, the time has reluctantly come to sell my pride and joy. I have restored this bike over a period of a year and a half and has been on the road now for 3 years. Only dry miles. It has MOT until April next year. During restoration everything except the engine was removed, these parts where applicable were either cleaned, painted or powder coated. Many new parts were used during the rebuild also. The fairings have been hydro dipped and lacquered and polished to a high standard. The frame and swing are have been resprayed. The wheels are powder coated black.
New parts include:-
Fork seals and bushes.
Braided brake and clutch lines.
Oil & filter.
Radiator and coolant.
Exhaust end cans and link pipes.
Front discs and pads.
6 pot calipers on the front.
Tinted screen (dark smoke).
Chain and sprockets.
K&N Air filter.
I’ve probably missed loads but basically if it was no good or worn it was replaced, I also reset the valve clearance’s the carbs were cleaned and synchronised.
The fuel tank was cleaned and coated to cure rust and stop anymore. Wiring loom was unwrapped checked and wrapped with new tape. Most bolts have been replaced with stainless steel ones.
