VW LT35 horse box, aka Bluebell. 1991, 122k miles on her.
Takes a large horse or two large ponies comfortably,
driven on an ordinary licence and cheap to run.
This box has been used for local gallivanting about, no turbo on the diesel engine so slow but steady uphill, no power steering so a bit of a work out for a three point turn but saying that easy to handle. She's of an age where she has a manual choke and no air con, and without doubt the ponies are travelling in more comfort than the riders. This is a great first box,
we opted for it over a trailer, but sadly circumstances mean we won't be using it this year and it's time to pass it on.
