The Following Are Parts Of Evidence From Unsuccessful Council Appeals:
Proof the council is not always correct!
Caravans, including mobile homes up to 65 feet by 22 feet(20 metres by 6.80 metres) can be sited in the direct garden of a house without planning permission if they are used by members of the household as additional living space not as independent accommodation. The caravan must be within the ‘curtilage’(inside the land area of the house)of the dwelling.
There can be two or more sections constructed. The ‘act’ of joining should be the final act of assembly. There is no requirement that the process of creating either or any sections should take place away from the site.
There is nothing to indicate that the structure when complete resembles a caravan or other or that either parts are identifiable as a ‘caravan’.
“I see no requirement that the process of creating the two or more sections must take place away from the site on which they are joined together. It is necessary that the act of joining the parts should be the final act of assembly.”
