Is there anyone out there that might have an older ridden Arab that is just become a field ornament.
I have just lost my husband so now have to hack out on my own.
I have had Arabs for over 30 years( roundoak stud gelding), and now have two Welsh sec D mares.
But as everyone knows two is not an ideal number, when you hack alone,it's not fair to leave one stabled on its own.
So if there is anyone that has a ridden mare or gelding that wants an amazing home to see out it's last years in the most amazing quiet hacking area of the Brechfa forest. It's forestry hacking but not fast,I plod along singing to the kingfishers.
22 acres,lovely huge 18x18 rubber matted boxses,with Megszorb beds.
Fields picked up daly ( I should be a size 8). Fly rugs in summer,in at night.
Boxses only 20 feet from sitting room window.
All I need is something that can stand still to be mounted from block, hedge, gate as forestry riding always throughs an obstacle or fallen branch.
Must be able to pass a tractor without heading for the M25.
I'm used to the odd spook at a plastic bag that has been in the same spot for the last 5 years, but may have developed a monster baby overnight.
No rearers ,or box walkers,or sarcoids or sweetitch PLEASE,as I'm in Wales and it's wet 75% of the year.
Something that would go through water would be an asset.
I'm not expecting something for nothing, and I now have a home/ dog/ horse sitter so I can travel.
Please no timewaisters. This has been the worst 12 weeks of my life,my two sec D girls have been on full livery (£210 per week) since hubby got poorly and the subsequent fall out,but they come home in a weeks time, and I really want to get going again.
Any inspection more than welcome,B&B etc etc for any Mum or Dad that wants to come and see what I have to offer.
