Tentatively looking for a new home or home for 2 beautifully marked proven rams.
They are called Fudge and Flapjack both were born here and are more than capable of siring beautiful spotty lambs. Easy to handle and both will lead on a halter. Being of Soay breeding they are very small size and very light on their feet.
The Black/white spotted larger ram is Flapjack he a Soay cross with a JacobxShetland ewe.
The brown/white small ram is Fudge he is almost a pure Soay but has a tiny bit of Jacob in his breeding.
They have great genes for throwing spotted lambs and would be very suitable for putting to Soay or Shetland ewes.
They are looking for a home as I will not be using them for breeding again and I have 3 other rams who are larger and last winter was a bit of a nightmare with squabbling rams who didn't have any ewes to keep them occupied...I'm worried these 2 may get injured by the other rams and would really like to see them pass on their Gene's somewhere.
They are very primitive type hardy healthy sheep and both self shear most of theirngleece each year.
I would love to find them a breeing home with a smallholder where they will be well cared for and have years ahead of them.
They are not being sold for cheap meat and no dealers please this is a hard choice and I won't let them go until I find a good home for them.
Send me a message or text/call if you are interested, thanks :)
