The photos are not the actual item for sale since I did not want to take it out of the box. The boxed one will be pristine
Brand new in a box from the year 2000 (ish). A Delph DaCapo valve power amplifier. These used to sell for £1495. I am moving house and I have found one under the bench.
I can't remember an awful lot but these were fantastic performers, delivering approximately 50W per channel into 8 ohms. They had KT88 output valves, ECC81 phase splitters and an EF86 first stage.
They boasted fourteen section (I think) output transformers configured in ultra-linear. The power supply was analogue with solid state rectifiers, delayed turn-on of the HT and a balance detector to switch off if anything went wrong with the output stages.
Bear in mind this has not been switched on for twenty years so may need a burn-in period.
Cash or bank transfer please. Buyer must collect from South Lincolnshire; I dare not ship this.
