Miller is a 15.2 12 year old Irish sports horse who unfortunately can no longer be ridden
We are looking for a home where miller can be a field companion/travel buddy. He is a chunky boy and very easy to do.
He is barefooted and currently just chilling in a field. He has ground manners to die for and will happily stand been pampered for hours. He will automatically pick his leg up for the farrier.
He is better in a smaller group of horses in a field, if not, he can be a bit needy and clingy. He is no way spooky on the ground, he might have a look and snort but that’s all. Miller will happily live in or out but prefers being out. Happy on either straw or shavings. He is on no feed and lives off mostly grass, rarely hay. He is amazing to load so would be a good travel companion. Fully vaccinated and up to date with teeth. Great with kids, dogs, farm animals/machinery etc. He has no ground vices at all except sometimes being a cheeky boy to catch if in a big herd. He gets worried about leaving his buddies. An apple helps.
He is the perfect horse on the ground and will make a great companion!
Please note that he cannot be ridden due to back problem which doesn’t cause any pain or issues unless under saddle.
We are so sad that he is no longer in work but feel that there is a home somewhere for him.
We cannot keep him and desperately hoping there is a home out there.
Free to very good home only. He is branded to protect being sold on.
We would like to visit any home wanting to take him.
We are based in Huddersfield
