Big scopey jump, carries himself well.
Would be perfect low level dressage, sj hunting hacking life.
I had owned zaz for over 3 years nearly 4 when I sold him as a competition/RoR horse. He has a very capable jump moves beautifully and is a quick learner. Has hunted also and was great. Not a novice ride as can get on his toes when a little fresh and he needs someone confident, he’s not strong or nasty. When jumping can get bouncy if fresh. Doesn’t buck or rear. He can sometimes try something on and if allowed to get away with it he will if not and told no he’s great.
Hacks alone and in company
Good to load clip shoe etc.
He has got lumps and bumps on his legs and a splint in his off hind which he has had a long time and it’s never been a problem and my vets are happy with it.
I sold zaz last August and I am unsure how but with his new owners he chipped a tiny bit of bone in his leg and they chose for him to have surgery. The surgery involved cutting the nerve so he can’t feel that part of his leg/ part of his hoof. This means he cannot compete under fei rules but physically can still do everything. Since his op in December he hasn’t been brought back into work meaning he has lost his topline and needs to restart. The owners decided it wasn’t fair him being wasted completely and I bought him back so that I can find him the right home as he means an awful lot to me.
I have started his flat work and getting him back balanced and used to his leg after his op. He has been working great for 6 weeks now and been going for decent canters across the stubble fields too. Everything is coming back to him very quickly.
Therefore I’m just wanting a happy life for him where someone can give him their time and attention and just have fun.
same as the original reason I was selling is I can’t keep two horses permanently unfortunately. He loves attention and being worked which I cannot give him enough of.
