I've made the heartbreaking decision to sell Lola. I've not made this decision lightly as I love this horse but due to commitments she has to go ??
Lola is a 15.1hh, 13 year old Irish sports horse mare. Lola is not a novice due to her being very forward going and does nap when not been in work. She would make the perfect teenagers horse.
Good points: She's very loving mare who you can have a very fun ride on. She will do anything that's asked of her. She can jump, lunge and long reign. She can be ridden alone or with company. She will stand all day to be groomed, bathed or clipped and loves to be fussed over. She loads perfectly and loves a gallop along the beach! She's snaffle mouthed, up to date with injections, dentists and worming. She's done showing in hand and behaved impeccably and loves competing at endurance. She's got the stamina!! She doesn't buck or be strong and she is 100% in the heaviest of traffic.
Bad points: Lola naps and when she does this she does mini rears. This is only evident when she's been out of work and so is not a novice ride. This can be worked out of her and she won't do it. She gets stressed at feeding times but doesn't do anything dangerous or silly.
I ride her and so does my 14 year old daughter and she's been fine for us.
She scowls at us when we tighten the girth but has never bitten or kicked anyone. I do love this little mare but I have 4 horses and my daughters have both quit therefore, she is surplus to requirements.
She comes with bridle and rugs. She is kept at my own yard in Clayton, Bradford. No time wasters please this is a hard decision. Message for more details. Thanks
