Sadly we are looking to re-home our chihuahua. We've had him for over 6 years now (born Dec 2012, we’ve had him since Nov 2013) but we're moving overseas later in the year and have decided it would be best for him to be re-homed in the UK. He's a very nervous little guy and we don't think he'd cope with being in a crate for multiple long-haul flights and then a minimum of 10 days in quarantine.
He's a gorgeous little guy who loves a quiet life with lots of cuddles and attention. He loves to play ball, which is an indoor game in his eyes. He has so much love to give and will be the best companion there could be for the right owner.
He'd really suit a life with someone who spends most of their time at home and just enjoys a dog's company. He wouldn't be suited to a busy family home, so no children or other dogs please. We really want to find his forever home so please DO NOT get in touch if you are expecting any significant life changes in the next 9 years. We are absolutely committed to finding the right home for him and won’t be rushing into anything.
As I mentioned above, he's quite nervous and anxious, so doesn’t deal well with being left alone anywhere other than at home, and also isn’t good with other dogs. Once given the opportunity to make friends with a dog he often will, and after that he's great with them, but new dogs terrify him.
He has been neutered and microchipped and is fully up to date with vaccinations. He has no significant health issues that we are aware of, and has been to the vet for a check-up every 6 months since we've had him.
If he sounds right for you please get in touch, you won't regret it. He's not the easiest, but he's worth it.
