The ‘glazed’ house features a contemporary interior, with quirky art, wooden flooring/skirting throughout and customised furniture.
The house, which measures 87cm high, 87cm wide and 43cm deep excluding pillared entrance, comprises:
Ground floor kitchen, featuring: an unfitted kitchen with coordinating dresser, Aga, fridge freezer, refectory table, kitchen stools, pedal bin and kitchen accessories. Across the hallway is a dining room featuring: a refectory-style table and six dining chairs, two of which are carver-style. A cabinet houses china and cutlery.
First floor sitting room, featuring: an open log fire, log basket, two contemporary sofas, a matching chair and footstool, a coffee table with chessboard. A trunk to the left of the fireplaces houses the chess pieces. Across the hallway is the panelled library, featuring: a large bookcase, with matching china, a side console with lamps and a sailboat ornament, a period sofa, coffee table and book.
Second Floor bedroom, featuring: double bed, twin chests of drawers, wardrobe, blanket chest and pictures. Across the hall is a traditional bathroom, featuring: half-height tongue & groove cladding, a roll-top bath, washbasin, toilet, console table, towel stand, basket, mirrored cabinet and pictures.
Third floor attic bedroom, featuring: twin beds, a chest of drawers with mirror, and boys/girls toys, including a rocking horse and miniature dolls house with front opening. Across the hallway is a nursery, featuring: large/small cots, wardrobe, blanket chest, high chair, small rocking horse, stroller and miniature dolls house.
The central hallway/stairs/landing is ‘tiled’ and features old-style radiators and an antique bureau on the top floor.
