Advert Description

This is my beloved D-25M . It needs relaquering by a good luthier and that is all it needs. It has a hard case which is a bit tatty but functional. Once you get past the relaquering bit, there is an area of the neck where the laquer is gone, pictured, you have an astonishingly good sounding guitar, the Fishman is top of the range or was when I had it put in by Graham Wheeler. There is a volume control for it but no eq or anything fancy, doesn't need it, it's class as it is. The machine heads I swapped out for some locking ones which do the job better than the originals and are much easier to string. It should take 13's but I have always used 12 gauge. The action is amazing and I set up all my guitars myself and I am pleased with this one. It is as low as it can be and even with 12 gauge you can play lead riffs on it all the way up, no buzzes no chokes at all, a joy to play and it sounds beautiful acoustically or with a pa. The price reflects the Fishman and machine head upgrade but am open to a fair offer. Can ship but would far prefer collection for obvious reasons. Thanks.
