Advert Description

A Georgian antique dating back to 1820.

I have repurposed it as a storage/sewing box or simply as a side table, with a soft turquoise cord fabric inner. The inside of the lid, lid trim, edge of box inner and corners of the legs have been painted in a gold metallic Rustoleum chalk paint. The exterior has been painted in Farrow and Ball Blue Ground, a soft pale blue which mimics Wedgewood Blue a popular colour of the Georgian era.
The fir tree wood lid has been sanded, bleached and waxed in a rich mid tone.

This item is 200 years old and shows obvious signs of its age, however, this is a real piece of history which I have restored sympathetically with a nod to the Georgian era.

I am happy for anyone to view before purchase. Buyer to collect from Tetbury or I can deliver locally to Tetbury or Emerson's Green Bristol for a delivery charge.
