The Villa Foscari at Malcontenta, erected in the late 1550s on an impressive site by the once-busy Brenta Canal, is one of Palladio’s greatest works. Its well-preserved condition also makes it particularly suitable as subject of research.

One of the purposes of this book is to present a unique series of measured drawings of the Villa Foscari prepared by the Department of Architecture of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Stockholm.

Beautifully illustrated in b/w with 35 drawings and 25 photos. This copy is in very good condition with some signs of wear and creasing to soft cover. Internally, pages are clean throughout, no tears, creases or discolouration. Read more
