Advert Description
It's with a very heavy heart I write this, and I don't know how I'll feel when I recieve any interest. Just putting the feelers out there regarding my super big baby bear. Gordon is my chocolate sable roan Kennel Club Registered Show Type Cocker Spaniel. I bred him myself around 18 months ago and I'm proud to say I have, I had big plans for him to be one of my active stud dogs. He has sired an expected litter of Cockerpoos which I'm very excited about. A couple of reasons why I'm considering rehoming him... Firstly, as a licensed breeder, its all well and good advertising stud dogs and recieving stud fees, but I feel I'm encouraging unlicensed breeders going forward, which is irresponsible. I've trained him up to be used for Artificial Insemination which he's took to like a duck to water(what man wouldn't). Secondly, he can only mate one of my girls as he is related to or too big for the rest of my girls which are toy poodles. It seems such a shame he's kennelled here when he could be living an amazing life indoors with a loving family. It's going to be a very upsetting time if I decide I have found the right home for Gordon and let him go. Gordon is a family man, very sociable and thrives off company. He lives with other dogs and is very gentle with children. I feel Gordon would be best suited to someone who is home most of the time, he's not keen on been left. He's semi house trained and walks beautifully on a harness with no pull at all. He is still entire but provided he settles in his new home, he can be castrated. If he doesn't settle, I'm quite happy to have him back. If you feel you can give Gordon the love and attention he pines for, please don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss further. He's got a heart of gold and will make someone very happy, he's so much love to give. I feel it's such a shame he's going to waste here when he could be someone else's cuddly teddy bear. As he's been use to living with my other Spaniels and poodles, he's use to company and not really been alone. I think with trust and patience he will adjust to a new life and family. If you feel you could be right for Gordon, please pop me a message or give me a ring anytime.
