Ford 3000 vintage tractor for sale
With some regret our Ford 3000 is for sale, with V5 logbook
We've spent quite a bit repairing this tractor over the years and it now runs well and reliably. There is still more to do, although a lot of it is superficial. Recent repairs include (all new parts) radiator, fusebox and loom, exhaust,, check chains, transmission rods, drawbar, lift arms, starter motor, start/stop cable, ignition, battery and cables, a lot of the fuel lines. I'm sure I've forgotten some bits. Fitting a new manual fuel lift this week, as it's been leaking from there. All in, we've spent more repairing it than we're asking for it! It's a nice old tractor though and has been worth the investment.
Still pulls well, PTO working, high and low ratio
It has a cab (very useful in this part of the world!) although it needs restoration as it's rusting and some of the glass has fallen out (I think I've managed to keep it all safe to go back in). However it keeps the rain off your head!
Engine seems rock solid, gearbox, steering etc all fine.
Ideal smallholders tractor or for vintage restoration project.
I'd recommend doing your research beforehand so you know what it does/doesn't do. We've got a copy of the electronic manual to go with it.
We also offer an option on a two furrow plough, cultivation discs and a bale trailer. The plough is in nice condition, the other two are showing their age. Available by separate negotiation but won't be sold without the tractor.
