Advert Description
a legend in each corner cob and a true weight carrier. hacks alone and in company, first or last and will walk away from horses if leaving a group. ridden buckle end or pick up the rains and she will pick up the pace. Good in open spaces.
jump puddles and ditches. Walks through streams. Good in traffic, used to farm machinery, cows, bulls and sheep. She's not a spooky sort but being 5 she has her moments.
Ridden by a mix of people: experienced, novices and total beginners. Regularly ridden by an 11 year old girl.
She stands to be groomed, clipped, picks her feet up, good with the trimmer - good strong feet and has always been barefoot. She's ok to load, just sometimes takes a moment to think about it but then goes on. When traveling regularly she more or less puts self on, travels like a rock, unloads at the front or will blackout nicely.
Green in the school but is getting better all the time. Loves pole work. She finds cantering difficult in the area but does try if ridden correctly. She has started doing some little jumps but this is not my strong point. She can be lazy, but if you know the buttons to push she is fairly forward, she will always be more woah than go. Maya is young and brought on slowly so this will improve with time. She is much more forward out hacking.
Been to local shows and pony club games. Always comes back with a ribbon.
Fit and ready to go.
She can be stubborn and on occasion bolshy on the ground and I can't handle her when she is. She has been sent away for training where she was really good and never displayed the behaviours, however, For this reason she is only to go to a home that has experience with bolshy horses.
I know she will go far in the right hands and for most of the time she is a very sweet mare with a lovely disposition.
She comes with a full wardrobe including correctly fitting tack.
Lots more pics and videos on request.
