Advert Description

My one off large scale piece, previously on display for an art show. Inspired painting by 'The Landscape of Flowers' back in the 90s. An impression and interpretation of the Iris Seedlings painting by Sir Cedric Morris, based on art studies at the time.
Using strong contrasts of colours in acrylic paint on a large upcycled wooden board with wooden frame, that can be wall mounted or just leant against a wall for effect.
My adaptation painted in the 90s has a strong leaning towards orange and blue, complementary opposites. On a closer look you can see a hidden home in the background, I feel my painting gives calm tones as it is like sitting looking out of a window into the distance.
Painted this in the 90s, but looked after well. Was painted on an upcycled piece of board, so my name is on back along with old sketches by a previous student. The cohort were in the local paper with our paintings at the time and I still have the newspaper clipping
