Advert Description

Oxfam Bookshop New Milton Hardback book published in 2009 - ISBN 9785938935204. The language used inside dustjacket and inside the book is English although the book was published in St Petersburg in 2009 for the IACS Council Meeting held 29-31 May 2012 in St Petersburg. For the first time ever under one cover are assembled the best works by St Petersburg masters of photography which allow the reader to see the beauty and grandeur of the northern capital of Russia from the height of a bird's flight. This art book affords a unique chance to conceive the city as a single architectural ensemble. St Petersburg is one of the youngest capitals of the world built merely within two incomplete centuries. The book is in excellent condition having been protected by a decorated cardboard slipcase. Beautiful, slightly padded, blue vellum front and back covers, gold writing on front cover. There is very slight creasing to the bottom of the spine but otherwise the book appears virtually as new. The colour photographs over the 160 pages are quite simply stunning. The dustjacket is in excellent condition and the cardboard decorated slipcase is also in very good condition with just one or two minor scratches. A beautiful reminder of St Petersburg for any recent travellers to the country. See Oxfam website for delivery information
